New Rules for Aesthetic Treatments from 1st June
From 1st June 2025, if you’re having any injectable treatment that involves a prescription-only medication (like Botox), you must have a face-to-face consultation with a qualified prescriber before your treatment.
What this means for you:
• No more remote/video consultations for POMs
• Your prescriber must see you in person
• If not, the product may not be legally prescribed
• Practitioners who don’t follow this rule will be breaking new regulations
